I always do my best to give thanks and reflect on my blessings daily, but there’s just something about the Thanksgiving holiday that I love. Having a full day to reflect, to pause from our normal routines and spend time with family is just perfect!
Here are my top 5 things that I’m thankful for.
1. MY FAITH
I’ve said it before and I’ll humbly say it again, my faith keeps me grounded. My belief in Jesus has guided me to all truth and taught me how to love others. My faith gives me hope for the future and helps me to conquer my fears.
2. MY CHILDREN + MY FAMILY
I cannot begin to tell you how much I’ve learned from being a mother. My children are like my three little besties! We laugh together, cry together and stroll through all of our life changes together. They motivate me to be a better version of myself and I’m totally grateful God has blessed me to be a mom. My family has supported me so much while chasing my dreams. I could not have done half the things I’ve been up to without their awesome support! I Love them!
I have been so blessed to have the earthly things I have. Not to sound superficial but the reality is there are many people in this world that would be so grateful to have a home, a car, daily food, clothing etc. At times we take these things for granted yet they make a huge difference in our lives.
4. MY CAREER
With this being just about 4 months since I’ve launched Kyree’s Kreations, I have made tremendous progress. Opportunities have presented themselves that I never imagined would be possible. I’ve found joy in doing what I love and being able to serve my clients brings true success.
Being a mentee has been one of the most rewarding things for me. I’ve learned so much from my mentor’s Pauleanna Reid and Cindy Li of Wonder Chic Events. These two ladies have taught me about branding, career strategies, wedding planning and about the wedding industry. Not to mention that I’ve built such great relationships with them both. I encourage any startup entrepreneur to make finding a mentor be at the TOP of their priorities.
Do any of these resonate with you? Let me know what are you thankful for this Thanksgiving weekend?
